TO THE AMERICAN STRIPER ASSOCIATION, the nations "Premier Striper Tournament Series". In 2010 the ASA will be conducting 6 tournaments in our series covering the Northeast United States. Striper enthusiasts can choose to fish a local tournament or compete for the prestigious Angler of the Year Award presented to the ASA Boat Captain that exhibits the skills needed to earn the bragging rights as the Nations Best Striped Bass Fisherman. This award is based on competition in multiple tournaments on the ASA/Mercury Tournament Trail. The ASA will also award a Top Jr. and Female Angler at the end of the 2010 season.

 The Third ASA Points Tournament of the 2010 season is now completed. TEAM AMAZING GRACE, Capt. Jamie Judy, remains in 1ST PLACE FOR ANGLER OF THE YEAR, with 199.2 ASA Points. Ashby Judy, also on Team Amazing Grace is in 1st Place for LADY ANGLER OF THE YEAR with a 133 point total.

TEAM '' OUT ON A LIMB" wins the Hi-Mar Spring Striper Tournament. Held out of Twin Lights Marina in Highlands NJ. Captain Emilio Santos, Jr. from Cliftwood, NJ and his Team, brough in a 50.6 lbs fish on Day 1, followed by a 37.35 fish on Day 2 for a total of 87.95 pounds... Full Press Release
