Mercury/ASA Striper Series
Jeppesen Marine Striper Showdown
September 19th 2009

Captain Bryan Pieros from Team Michael’s Bait and Tackle won the Jeppesen Marine Striper Showdown in Osterville, MA this past Saturday. Bryan’s 37.30 pound Striper was large enough to win both the tournament and 1st place calcutta. Bryan fishes a 27 foot Contender. Captain Greg Nunn of Team Hapi Daze on a Mercury powered 32 foot Fountain came in with a 29.30 Striper placing 2nd. Captain Bob Fitzgerald of Team Comstock Regulator placed 3rd with a 26.95 Striper. Bob runs a 26 foot Regulator. Captain Ken Zwirko of Team Bunker Down running a 21 foot Contender placed 4th with a 24.75 Striper. The next Mercury Striper Series tournament is October 10th at Stratford Boardwalk Marina in Stratford Connecticut sponsored by BoatShowDirect.com
